Program Overview
The Seniors Monthly Community Support Program is a community engagement initiative organised by United Nationals Countryless Children (UNCC) to bring together senior refugees and vulnerable nationals in a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment.
The program aims to reduce social isolation, loneliness, and boredom among elderly community members by creating regular opportunities for social interaction, cultural connection, and wellbeing support. Through monthly gatherings, seniors meet, share experiences, build friendships, and strengthen community belonging.
Program Activities
Each monthly event includes:

Community Gathering & Social Interaction – Seniors meet, share stories, and engage in meaningful conversations that promote emotional wellbeing and social inclusion.

Nutrition & Shared Meals – Provision of culturally appropriate meals including:

Full breakfast with coffee, tea, milk, water, biscuits, and fried groundnuts

Nutritious lunch prepared based on seniors’ preferences, including goat, sheep, chicken, and traditional vegetables.

Wellbeing Identification & Support

Identification of seniors experiencing hardship or unmet needs

Registration of new vulnerable cases within the community

Assessment of service gaps affecting elderly participants

UNCC responds through follow-up support, referrals, and targeted assistance based on identified needs.
