Dedicated Support Services for Women, Children, and Families in Brisbane

UNCC provides compassionate, practical support to women, children, and families experiencing adversity, housing stress, or homelessness.

Our dedicated team works to ensure safety, stability, and hope helping families rebuild their lives with dignity and long-term support.

Supporting Brisbane Mothers, Children, and Families in Crisis

Every day, UNCC meets vulnerable mothers, children, and families experiencing hardship from housing stress and eviction to the trauma of domestic violence. Rising rents and living costs are pushing many into homelessness, while others struggle to rebuild after escaping unsafe situations.

If this is you, we see you, we hear you, and you are not alone. Our dedicated Families Team provides immediate crisis assistance, connects families with safe accommodation, and links them to ongoing support to rebuild stability and hope.

We assist families who are:

  • Facing homelessness or eviction through rapid housing and early intervention programs.

  • Experiencing violence or abuse with confidential, trauma-informed support and referrals.

  • Young parents with wrap-around services such as antenatal care, parenting support, and early childhood education.

At UNCC, we believe thriving families create thriving communities. By ensuring safety, stable housing, healthcare, and education, we empower families to break cycles of disadvantage and build brighter futures.

2023–2024 Impact:

  • 95 support sessions delivered to parents and caregivers.

  • 79 pregnant women and families supported.

  • 91 children and young people assisted through our family programs.
